San Jose Semaphore website for Adobe
Our client’s story:
Adobe, which launched a new code in its San Jose Semaphore display that sits atop one of its buildings in Silicon Valley, wanted to redesign the project’s website. The website features photos, bios, videos, and an audio-and-visual transmission of a secret code that potential puzzle-solvers are invited to crack.
Scott Design created a new design for the site featuring images of the art installation. We then developed a solution using PHP, Flash, and HTML5 to protect the code from hackers while providing an iPad experience that is similar to the desktop web experience. This hybrid solution delivers a Flash experience to Flash users and an HTML5 experience to iPad and iPhone users.
